A.G.M. and Society Slides

February was once more our Annual General Meeting which showed the Branch to be in a sound financial position with a slight profit over the year. Due to the chairman, Sam McNair deciding that he didn't want to continue there was a change of officials, John Frew becoming chairman, Tom Grayston becoming vice chairman and Liz Shakespeare becoming show convenor, the other officials and committee remained as before.
After the formal part of the meeting was concluded those present enjoyed one of the Society's digital presentations of Mesembs, although quite old this was very interesting as it showed growing methods in times gone past.
